The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and all charitable contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Every person who supports the MLK is our partner in philanthropy. We welcome your questions, and we encourage you to visit the Center to learn how your generosity makes a difference.
$50 will help pay for food for seniors in Lunch & Learn
$100 will help pay for food for 2 Family Dinners serving 75 families
$500 will help pay for food and fuel for 50 Food 2 Friends clients
$1,000 will help pay for a ½ gal of milk per family each month
$50 will help pay for art classes for 45 students in the afterschool program
$100 will help pay for enriching and fun field trips for Summer Adventure Camp
$500 will pay for one child to attend Summer Adventure Camp
$1,000 will pay for one week of healthy breakfast, lunch, and snack for 45 kids
$50 will help pay for an outing for LEAD, our LGBTQQ+ youth peer group
$100 will pay for a LivFit cooking class for 10 adults
$500 will help pay for one-on-one nutrition counseling for with our registered dietitian
$1,000 will help pay for two monthly community dinners
