The Front Desk Administrator is the first interface that clients, donors, vendors, and the general public have with the MLK Community Center. The Front Desk Administrator is responsible for providing a point of contact for walk-in traffic, incoming telephone calls, granting access to the building, and supporting the highest level of customer service for clients, staff, and visitors. The Front Desk Administrator is primarily responsible for overseeing/executing the food pantry process of client registration, pantry shopping and database maintenance.

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center’s preschool has an immediate opening for a positive and caring person to join our team of experienced educators. The preschool at the MLK is a licensed educational program for children 3 to 5 years of age.
Monday – Friday; 25 hours/week (extra hours may be available)
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Hours: Allotted 27-30 hours per week, year-round position
Pay: $17 per hour plus Paid Time Off accrual

The School Age Staff supports the Assistant Director of Education by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. School Age Staff are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities based on children’s interests and needs under the direction of the Assistant Director of Education and Director of Education.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Pay: $17/hour
Hours: Allotted 17-20 hours per week, year-round position
