L.E.A.D. LGBTQQ+ Peer Group

June 22, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Beginning July 7th and taking place every Wednesday at 3 pm thereafter, LGBTQQ+ youth are invited to join the MLK Community Center’s new L.E.A.D. (Love, Equity, Acceptance, Dreams) peer group.
No RSVPs are necessary – feel free to join us at any time!
The goal of the L.E.A.D. group, facilitated by those who identify as belonging to this community, is to provide LGBTQQ+ youth with a safe place to discuss challenges and ask questions, and empower them to embrace their authentic selves – whatever that may look like. This group will serve as a collaborative environment and currently has no rigid structure so that we may adapt to the needs of group members.
Feel free to contact Mirasia for more information or with any questions: via email at MCASSESE@MLKCCenter.org or (401) 846-4828 x201
