Ed Coll was devoted to his community, especially supporting the families and kids served by the MLK Community Center. In his memory, the Coll Family will be matching donations for MLK Preschool scholarships dollar for dollar up to $50,000.
Inspired by the Coll Family’s generosity, another Newport family decided to match their gift. They are giving up to $50,000 to match the Coll Family. Now your gift can be TRIPLED. We only have $7,710 to go to meet the match. Will you help us get there?
Every weekday, our doors open at 8:00 a.m. as our preschoolers join us for a full day until 5:00 pm. Our caring and nurturing staff helps kids learn and develop through creative play. Our high quality early childhood program helps kids socially and emotionally prepare for Kindergarten. Our program includes all day care, and breakfast, lunch and snacks. Our parents work fulltime in restaurants, landscaping, retail, medical, hotels, construction, and more: jobs that keep this community running.
Almost every child we serve receives a generous needs-based scholarships. We can only help kids and families if people like you support us.
