Centennial Celebration
What a Night to Remember!
On Thursday, September 8, over 500 friends from the community joined the MLK to celebrate the organization's 100th birthday. It was a night to remember with many laughs, lawn games, fire pits, delicious food from McGrath's Catering, and lots of dancing to the energizing music of the World Premiere Band. Guests listened to heartfelt words from Heather Hole Strout, MLK's Executive Director, and from the presenting sponsor Mark Aramli of BedJet and the Aramli Foundation, who shared his own experiences growing up and why he has become such a dedicated supporter of the MLK. Following the presentations, party goers watched the premiere of the centennial video before the tent erupted in celebration. Others lingered outside for cocktails and conversation while watching a stunning sunset overlooking the Pell Bridge.

Of course, this event would not have been possible without the support of our sponsors, community partners, and volunteers. From all of us at MLK, THANK YOU for helping us have the BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER!!
The centennial video captures the organization's history and so much more. Watch and meet just a few of the people that have been impacted by the services that are offered. We are grateful to 11th Hour Racing for the support they provided to make this video and to Sky Sabin Productions for doing such an amazing job capturing the spirit of the MLK Center.
