'Tis the Season of Giving...
and We Need Your Help to Make the MLK's Holiday Programs Possible
|
Last year, we helped 616 families have a bountiful Thanksgiving. This year, we expect to support close to 700 families at each holiday meal, the most the MLK Center has ever helped. Last Christmas, 916 local children received toys and gifts from the MLK. We’re on pace to help even more this year. With rising costs for food, housing, and fuel, more people than ever are using our programs. Can you help us reduce holiday stress for local families? Check out ways to get involved below:

Gift Card Donations
This year, we are distributing supermarket gift cards to registered participants for all holiday meals. We simply don't have the space to store hundreds of Thanksgiving turkeys and all the fixings because of construction. You can help support this effort by purchasing gift cards from Stop & Shop and Shaw’s in $10 and $20 increments and donate them to the MLK.

Donate Toys or
Host a Toy Drive
As we get ready for the holiday gift season our greatest needs are toys and gifts for children age 0 to 12. They should be new and unwrapped. Check out the
Toy & Gift Wish List
If you would like to host a toy drive, please contact Mel Saunders at MSaunders@MLKCCenter.org or call 401-846-4828 x124
