Join us for the second annual Charlie Holder Sr. Memorial 5k at the Newport County YMCA on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The competitive 5k run, the walk, and the virtual components of the event are aimed at raising money for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center and the Newport County YMCA Summer Scholarship in memory of the late Charlie Holder Sr. Last year, nearly $9,000 was raised. Charlie was a beloved Newport local with a passion for running. His family holds the race in his honor to carry on his legacy and support the community he loved.
